UK regional carrier Eastern Airways has added a second Embraer 145 to its fleet.
The Humberside-based airline now operates four jets manufactured by the Brazilian airframer, in addition to 15 BAe Jetstream 41s and eight Saab 2000s.
Powered by Rolls-Royce A3007 jet engines, the 49-seater E-145 (MSN 145300) is being leased from Denver, Colorado-based Aircraft Solutions.
Chris Holliday, Eastern Airways's chief operating officer, says: "Last year's reintroduction of the Embraer 145 proved very popular with the charter market, and due to demand we have now added another of this series type to our fleet.
"As and when required this new addition will fly on the scheduled network."
