Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) is launching nonstop scheduled flights from Kiev to Nizhnevartovsk in Russia on 21 May.
UIA will initially operate the route twice weekly with Boeing 737 and Embraer 190 aircraft configured in a two-cabin layout.
The Ukrainian flag carrier will increase frequencies to thrice weekly on 8 June, before the service becomes five times weekly on 23 June.
It already operates scheduled services from Kiev to Moscow, St Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Kaliningrad and Yekaterinburg.
Innovata schedules show that UIA is the only operator on the new route.
