United-Continental logs lower single-digit growth in May unit revenues

United-Continental estimates its consolidated passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM) grew 0% to 1% in May.

The carrier's consolidated traffic grew 0.3% on a 0.4% increase in capacity in May, while its load factor decreased 0.1 percentage points to 83.6%.

Domestic traffic for the carrier decreased slightly by 0.3% in the month on a 0.4% capacity increase, while traffic on its international routes grew 1.8% on a 2.2% increase in supply.

Cargo traffic for the month fell 7.4%.
