United Airlines has notified the US Department of Transportation (DOT) that it will codeshare with partners All Nippon Airways (ANA), Brussels Airlines and Swiss International Air Lines on more flights.

ANA's code will be displayed on United's flights between Houston-Sao Paulo, Houston-Rio de Janeiro, Newark-Sao Paulo, Washington DC-Sao Paulo, Washington DC-Rio de Janeiro and Chicago-Sao Paulo, says United.

Separately, United plans to place its code on Brussels Airlines' flights between Brussels and Moscow, and on Swiss' flights between Geneva and Moscow and between Geneva and St Petersburg.

United, which filed the notifications with the DOT on 20 December, plans to begin the codesharing arrangements on or after 30 days from the filing of the notifications, it adds.
