United Airlines will drop service to Curacao, Netherlands Antilles, and Port au Prince, Haiti, from April.
The Chicago-based Star Alliance carrier will end flights to Curacao on 27 April and Port au Prince on 8 April. It flies to both cities from its Newark hub.
Continental Airlines, which merged with United in 2010, began flights to Curacao in December 2005 and United launched service to Port au Prince in June 2011.
No other airlines fly between the New York area and Curacao, according to Innovata schedules. American Airlines and Delta Air Lines fly between New York's John F. Kennedy and Port au Prince.
