US Airways PRASM flat in September

US Airways passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM) was flat in September compared to a year earlier, after a 1% increase in August.

Consolidated passenger traffic grew 2% year-on-year against a 1.1% growth in capacity.

The Tempe, Arizona-based carrier's consolidated load factor fell by 0.2 percentage points to 85.8%.

US Airways' mainline traffic and capacity both increased by 2.7%, resulting in no year-on-year change in its load factor at 83.9%.
