US Airways will launch new nonstop daily flights between Philadelphia and Salt Lake City from 8 June.

The Tempe, Arizona-based carrier will operate the service on an Airbus A320.

Innovata schedules show that US Airways will compete with Delta Air Lines, which has a hub in Salt Lake City, on the route.

US Airways launched nonstop service between Charlotte and Salt Lake City, its first to one of its east coast hubs, on 4 March 2012.
