US Airways traffic up 3% in November

US Airways has reported a 3.1% growth in consolidated passenger traffic in November.

Capacity was down 0.8%, while the consolidated load factor was up 3.1 percentage points to 83.4%.

Mainline domestic traffic grew 2.9%, Atlantic traffic rose 5.6% and Latin traffic increased 3.4%, said Alaska,

Domestic mainline capacity was down 1.7%, Atlantic capacity rose 4.8% and Latin capacity fell 0.3%.

The mainline domestic load factor grew 3.9 percentage points to 86%, the Atlantic load factor rose 0.6 percentage point to 74.2% and the Latin load factor increased 2.9 percentage points to 81.7%.
