US Airways unit revenues up 1% in June

US Airways' passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM) increased roughly 1% in June compared to a year earlier.

Consolidated passenger traffic and capacity rose by 7% and 4.9%, respectively. The load factor was up 1.7 percentage points to 87.8%.

Mainline domestic traffic grew 7.3%, Atlantic traffic increased 5.6% and Latin traffic rose 12.2%, resulting in an overall 7.3% increase in mainline traffic during the month.

Domestic mainline capacity grew 4.9%, Atlantic capacity rose 3.6% and Latin capacity increased 13.4%, resulting in an overall 5.3% growth in mainline capacity during the month.

The mainline load factor was up 1.7 percentage points to 88.2% for the month.
