A decision regarding AWAS' request for US Export Import Bank support will be taken this week by the export credit agency.
Last month, AWAS requested export agency funding for its Boeing aircraft deliveries. A decision has been pending US Congressional review.
According to Ex-Im, the aircraft are on lease to "various sub-lessees".
In July, the lessor closed a $360 million secured term loan, which was over-subscribed and attracted new investors to the lessor.
Proceeds from AWAS' six-year term loan were used to refinance nine aircraft and for the purchase of four new units that will deliver this year.
