Guggenheim Aviation Partners sells two 767 freighters for $50m

US lessor Guggenheim Aviation Partners has agreed the sale of a pair of Boeing 767-300ER freighters to Cargo Aircraft Management in a $49.9 million transaction.

Cargo Aircraft Management’s parent company Air Transport Service Group (ATSG) announced the transaction adding that it has an option to purchase one additional 767-300 freighter from Guggenheim in 2015.

Both aircraft are currently under multi-year operating leases from Guggenheim to ATSG’s airline subsidiary ABX Air.

Flightglobal Ascend Fleets shows the first unit, MSN 24358, is a 1989-vintage aircraft on lease through January 2015. The second 767-300ER freighter, MSN 24729, is a 1991-vintage aircraft leased through March 2017.

Avion Asset Management purchased a Boeing 737-500 (25794) aircraft with FM56-3C1 engines from Alpha Aircraft Management. The 1996-vintage aircraft was last operated by SAS.

Bhutan Airlines leased an Airbus A319 (1551) aircraft with CFM56-5B6/P engines from Lombard Aviation Capital (SMBC Aviation Capital). The 2001-vintage aircraft was previously operated by China Eastern Airlines.

Delta Air Lines purchased a Boeing MD-90 (53534) aircraft with V2528-D5 engines from Uni Air. The 1998-vintage aircraft was operated by Uni Air since new.

Eagle Support Corp purchased a Boeing 737-500 (28995) aircraft with FM56-3C1 engines from Goiania Comercio E Servicos Internationais. The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Ukraine International Airlines.

Flyvista leased a Boeing 737-300 (28733) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from KV Aviation. The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air New Zealand.

Fly Allways purchased a Fokker 70 (11556) aircraft with Tay 620-15 engines from KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. The 1995-vintage aircraft was operated by KLM Cityhopper since 2009.

InselAir purchased a Fokker 70 (11537) aircraft with Tay 620-15 engines from KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. The 1995-vintage aircraft was operated by KLM Cityhopper since 2002.

300P Holding ehf purchased a Boeing 747-400 (29262) aircraft with CF6-80C2B1F engines from Sonair. The 1999-vintage aircraft is on sublease to Saudia.
