Aigle Azur to lease ex-Kingfisher A330s from DAE Capital

French carrier Aigle Azur is planning to lease a pair of Airbus A330-200s from Dubai Aerospace Enterprise, for delivery from the end of this year.

The aircraft, both 2008 airframes, are powered by Pratt & Whitney PW4168A engines.

Aigle Azur says they will be configured in a two-class layout with 18 business-class and 247 economy-class seats.

Under a letter of intent signed with the United Arab Emirates lessor, the first aircraft will arrive in December this year and the second in January 2015.

The A330-200 (MSNs 0874, 0939) were previously operated by Kingfisher Airlines.

Air Cargo Global leased a Boeing 747-400SF (24311) aircraft with PW4056 engines from Avion Leasing. The 1991-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Cargo Germany.

Azerbaijan Airlines agreed to purchase an Embraer 170LR (17000005) aircraft with CF34-8E5 engines from ECC Leasing. The 2002-vintage aircraft was previously operated by.

Aeromexico Connect agreed to lease two Embraer 170 (17000141, 17000146) aircraft with CF34-8E5 engines from Finnair Aircraft Finance for a period of six years. The 2006-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Kenya Airways.

Comair Pty leased a Boeing 737-800 (27990) aircraft with CFM56-7B26 engines from AerCap. The 1999-vintage aircraft was previously operated by JetairFly.

Ethiopian Airlines leased a Boeing 737-700 (30687) aircraft with CFM56-7B24 engines from ILFC. The 2007-vintage aircraft was previously operated by LAN Columbia.

Fly Jamaica leased a Boeing 767-300ER (24876) aircraft with CF6-80C2B6 engines from Wings Aviation. The 1992-vintage aircraft was previously operated by North American Airlines.

Kulula subleased a Boeing 737-800 (27990) aircraft with CFM56-7B26 engines from Comair. The 1999-vintage aircraft was previously operated by JetairFly.

Linhas Aereas de Mocambique agreed to lease a Boeing 737-700 (33792) aircraft with CFM56-7B22 engines from ILFC. The 2004-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Aeromexico.

Magnicharters leased a Boeing 737-500 (27130) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Aviator Cap SIII. The 1993-vintage aircraft was previously operated by LOT Polish Airlines.

Rotana Jet leased an Embraer 145MP (145333) aircraft with AE 3007-A1 engines from Hop. The 2000-vintage aircraft was operated by Regional since new.

SAS agreed to lease a Boeing 737-700 (32684) aircraft with CFM56-7B22 engines from GECAS. The 2006-vintage aircraft was previously operated by

Anadolu Jet.

Southwest Airlines leased a Boeing 737-700 (30248) aircraft with CFM56-7B22 engines from AWAS. The 2002-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Eastar Jet.

Thomas Cook Airlines leased an Airbus A321 (1006) aircraft with CFM56-5B3/P engines from Aircastle. The 1999-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Aigle Azur.

Uni-top Airlines purchased four Airbus A300-600R (707, 725, 741, 746) aircraft with CF6-80C2A5 engines from Airbus. The 1993/94-vintage aircraft were previously operated by China Eastern Airlines.

Ural Airlines leased one Airbus A319 (3388) with CFM56-5B6/3 engines from AerCap. The 2008-vintage aircraft was previously by Airblue.

Vueling leased an Airbus A320 (4463) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/3 engines from Volito Aviation. The 2010-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Corsica.

VIM Airlines leased one Airbus A319 (3364) with CFM56-5B6/P engines from AWAS. The 2008-vintage aircraft was previously by Airblue.

Vietnam Airlines agreed to lease an Airbus A330-200 (0946) aircraft with PW4168A engines from DAE Capital. The 2008-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Kingfisher Airlines.

Wings Aviation purchased a Boeing 767-300ER (24876) aircraft with CF6-80C2B6 engines from ILFC. The 1992-vintage aircraft was previously operated by North American Airlines.
