Skyworld Aviation places ERJs for Republic Airways
Remarketing company Skyworld Aviation has found new homes for six Embraer ERJ-140/145s on behalf of US carrier Republic Airways.
Georgia-based specialist charter operator Aerodynamics has taken delivery of three 1999/2000-vintage ERJ-145s under an operating lease transaction, for charter contracts throughout the U.S. The three aircraft (MSNs 145203, 145332, 145337) join a pair of ERJ-145s that were already palced by Skyworld Aviation.
In a separate transaction, Australian corporate shuttle and charter specialist JetGo has also agreed to lease three ERJ-140s from Republic.
The 44-seat aircraft (MSNs 145522, 145513 and 145535) are due to be delivered in August, September and October this year.
The 2001-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Chautauqua Airlines.
Merx Aviation Finance purchased a Boeing 777-200LRF (37708) aircraft with GE90-110B1 engines from GECAS. The 2009-vintage aircraft is on lease to LAN Cargo.
Southern Air subleased a Boeing 737-400SF (26455) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Petrus Aircraft MSN 26455. The 1993-vintage aircraft was last operated by Malaysia Airlines as a passenger aircraft.
Ten Air leased a Boeing MD-83 (49941) aircraft with JT8D-219 engines from Swift Aircargo. The 1990-vintage aircraft was last operated by Austral Lineas Aereas.
White leased an Airbus A320 (1723) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from MCAP Europe. The 2002-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Bingo Airways.
