Deucalion acquires more widebodies for disassembly
Deucalion Aviation Funds has completed the purchase of two widebody aircraft for part-out at the Universal Asset Management facility in Tupelo.
Deucalion, through Deucalion Capital II/A330 Parts, purchased another A330-300 from Penerbangan Malaysian Berhad.
The 1995-vintage aircraft (MSN 119) is equipped with Pratt & Whitney PW4168 engines and was previously operated by Malaysia Airlines.
The acquisition follows the purchase of six A330-300s over the past two years.
Malaysia Airlines is selling the aircraft as part of its fleet renewal programme. The A330s were delivered new to Malaysia Airlines and were purchased by Penerbangan Malaysia in 2002 under a 10-year purchase and leaseback agreements.
Deucalion, through Deucalion Capital X, also completed the acquisition of the second of six A340-300s (MSN 52), from Lufthansa for part out. The 1994-vintage airframe follows the acquisition of a 1993-vintage A340 from Lufthansa in December.
DVB Bank advised Deucalion on both acquisitions.
Aerolease International purchased a Boeing 757-200 (24749) aircraft with PW2040 engines from VIM Airlines. The 1990-vintage aircraft was operated by VIM Airlines since 2004.
Airbus Financial Services purchased an Airbus A340-300 (162) aircraft with CFM56-5C4 engines from Air China. The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air China.
Air Serbia leased an Airbus A320 (2587) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from FLY Leasing. The 2005-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Jetstar.
Air Taraba leased an Embraer 145LR (145488) aircraft with AE3007-A1P engines from GECAS. The 2001-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Chautauqua Airlines.
Amaszonas leased a Bombardier CRJ200LR (7226) aircraft with CF34-3B1 engines from Avmax Aircraft Leasing. The 1998-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Shanghai Airlines.
Anadolu Jet leased two Boeing 737-800s (29916, 29920) with CFM56-7B24 engines from Aircastle. The 1999-vintage aircraft were previously operated by VRG Linhas Aereas.
Apollo Aviation Capital purchased an Airbus A330-200 (494) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from Continuity Air Finance (Ireland) I. The 2002-vintage aircraft was previously operate by Emirates Airline.
Canadian North leased a Boeing 737-300 (28596) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from NBB-28596 Lease & NBB Stork. The 1999-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Precision Air.
Enerjet leased a Boeing 737-700 (28498) aircraft with CFM56-7B22 engines from AWAS. The 2001-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Jet Airways.
Frontier Airlines leased an Airbus A320 (2695) aircraft with CFM56- 5B4/P engines from DAE Capital. The 2006-vintage aircraft was previously operated by StarFlyer.
HiFly agreed to lease an Airbus A330-200 (494) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from Apollo Aviation Capital. The 2002-vintage aircraft was previously operate by Emirates Airline.
HiFly agreed to lease two Airbus A330-200 (527, 532) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from ILFC. The 2003-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Gulf Air.
Jet Time leased a Boeing 737-300SF (23741) aircraft with CFM56-3B2 engines from Mint Aero. The 1988-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Saicus Air.
LAN Airlines transferred an Airbus A319 (3671) aircraft with V2524-A5 engines to LAN Ecuador. The 2008-vintage aircraft has been operated by LAN Airlines since new.
Mint Aero purchased a Boeing 737-300SF (23741) aircraft with CFM56-3B2 engines from Highbury Group. The 1988-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Saicus Air.
Sky Express subleased two Boeing 737-800s (29916, 29920) with CFM56-7B24 engines from Anadolu Jet. The 1999-vintage aircraft were previously operated by VRG Linhas Aereas.
TAP Portugal wetleased an Airbus A310-300 (565) aircraft with CF6-80C2A2 engines from HiFly. The 1990-vintage aircraft is owned by ILFC.
Turkish Airlines leased an Airbus A330-300 (0901) aircraft with CF6-80E1A4B engines from Jet Airways. The 2008-vintage aircraft was operated by Jet Airways since new.
VTB Leasing purchased four Boeing 737-800 (41195, 41196, 41197, 41198) aircraft with CFM56-7B26E engines from Aviakapital-Servis. The 2013/14-vintage aircraft are operated by Aeroflot Russian Airlines.
