Ukraine International leases used 737-800s from AWAS
Ukraine International Airways has further expanded its Boeing narrowbody fleet with two used 737-800s under an operating lease contract with AWAS.
The aircraft (MSNs 29038 and 29040) were manufactured in 1999 and 2000, respectively. Both were previously operated by Jet Airways.
Ukraine International Airways becomes a new customer from AWAS.
Flightglobal's Ascend online database shows that Ukraine International Airways operates a 30-aircraft fleet including eight 737-800s, 10 737-500s, four 737-400s, six 737-300s and two Embraer 190s.
Aeromexico Connect agreed to lease three 2006-vintage Embraer 170 (17000139, 17000141, 17000146) aircraft with CF34-8E5 engines from Finnair for a period of six years. The first aircraft was previously operated by Honeywell. The remaining two E-170s will join Aeromexico Connect's fleet in June 2014, when their existing leases with Kenya Airways expire.
Allied Air Cargo (Nigeria) purchased a Boeing 737-400 (26300) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from ILFC. The 1994-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Blu-Express.
Atlasjet Airlines agreed to lease an Airbus A321 (1451) aircraft with CFM56-5B3 engines from GECAS. The 2001-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Aigle Azur.
Azerbaijan Airlines agreed to acquire Embraer 170LR (17000002, 17000005) aircraft with CF34-8E5 engines from ECC Leasing. The 2002-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Paramount Airways.
Archway Aviation purchased a Boeing 737-800 (29931) aircraft with CFM56-7B24 engines from CIT Aerospace. The 2001-vintage aircraft is on lease to Garuda Indonesia.
Archway Aviation purchased an Airbus A319 (2771) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from CIT Aerospace. The 2006-vintage aircraft is on lease to Volaris.
Bulgarian Air Charter purchased a Boeing MD-82 (53058) aircraft with JT8D-217C engines from Alitalia. The 1991-vintage aircraft was operated by Alitalia since new.

CDB Leasing acquired an Airbus A320 (3889) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/3 engines from GECAS. The 2009-vintage aircraft is on lease to Nasair.
Kush Air leased a Fokker 100 (11307) aircraft with Tay 620-15 engines from Skyward International Aviation. The 1990-vintage aircraft was previously operated by PRiMA Aero Trasporti Italiani.
MNG Airlines purchased an Airbus A300-600RF (521) aircraft with CF6-80C2A5 engines from China Aircraft Leasing (CALC). The 1989-vintage aircraft was operated by China Cargo Airlines.
Philippine Airlines purchased two Airbus A340-300 (0318, 0332) aircraft with CFM56-5C4 engines from Airbus Financial Services. The 1999-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Iberia.
Nordwind Airlines leased a Boeing 767-300ER (27959) aircraft with CF6-80C2B6F engines from ILFC. The 1996-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Aeroflot Russian Airlines.
Sky Airline leased an Airbus A319 (2249) aircraft with CFM56-5B6/P engines from Nomura Babcock & Brown. The 2004-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Kuban Airlines.
Sapsan leased a Bombardier CRJ100ER (7359) aircraft with CF34-3A1 engines from Pragma MB. The 1999-vintage aircraft was leased by Sapsan in 2009.
Rio Linhas Aereas leased a Boeing 737-400 (25375) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Aergo Capital. The 1994-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Air Nigeria.
RusLine leased two Bombardier CRJ200ER (7408, 7441) aircraft with CF34-3B1 engines from CRJ 7408 and CRJ 7441. The 2000-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Comair.
SAS agreed to lease an Airbus A320 (3159) aircraft with V2725-A5 engines from MSN 3159 Leasing. The 2007-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Indigo Airlines.
Saudia Cargo wetleased a Boeing 747-400SF (25641) aircraft with CF6-80C2B1F engines from myCARGO Airlines. The 1992-vintage aircraft has been operated by myCARGO Airlines since 2012.
Yakutia leased a Boeing 737-700 (28009) aircraft with CFM56-7B22 engines from Aircastle. The 1999-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Aerosvit Airlines.
