Icelandair buys ex-American 757
Icelandair has purchased a Boeing 757-200 aircraft that was previously operated by American Airlines.
The aircraft (MSN 24596) was built in 1991 and powered with Rolls Royce’s RB211-535E4B engines.
Airblue agreed to wetlease an Airbus A320 (2540, 2596) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from Bulgaria Air. The 2005-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Nasair.
AnadoluJet agreed to transfer five Airbus A320 (2156, 2164, 2395, 2401, 2602) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines to Turkish Airlines. The 2004/05-vintage aircraft are on lease from BOC Aviation.
Aserca leased a Boeing MD83 (53472) aircraft with JT8D-219 engines from Air Capital Group. The 1997-vintage aircraft was last operated by Alaska Airlines.
BLF purchased two Boeing 767-200ER (30432, 30433) aircraft with CF6-80C2B4F engines from United Airlines. The 2000-vintage aircraft were previously operated by United Airlines.
Cathay Pacific Airways transferred an Airbus A330-300 (0155) aircraft with Trent 772-60 engines to Dragonair. The 1996-vintage aircraft was operated by Cathay Pacific since new.
Cimber leased a Bombardier CRJ200ER (7591) aircraft with CF34-3B1 engines in a transaction managed by GA Finance. The 2001-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Nostrum.
