Kahala sells CRJ/737 aircraft
Kahala Aviation has closed a number of aircraft sale in addition to the recent purchase of three 757-200 aircraft on lease to United Airlines.
The leasing entity confirmed the sale of two Bombardier CRJ200s: one 2000-vintage aircraft (MSN 7442) to Georgian Airways, and one 1996-vintage aircraft (7113) to Kenya’s operator Skyward International.
Kahala also sold to Westair Atlantic Group a 1990-vintage 737-300SF (24679) aircraft equipped with CFM56-3B2 engines as well as a CF34-3B1 engine.
The lessor placed a 1991-vintage 737-400SF (25052) on lease to Denmark’s Jet Time A/S. The aircraft was last operated by Aerosvit Airlines as a passenger aircraft.
It also assigned another ex-Aerosvit Airlines passenger aircraft 737-400 (24903) under a freighter conversion programme at Commercial Jet, Alabama.
Aels purchased one Boeing 737-500 (25228) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Compass Capital for part-out. The 1991-vintage aircraft were last operated by Air Namibia.
Air Onix Airlines leased a Boeing 737-400 (26302) aircraft with CFM56-3B2 engines from KV MSN 26302 Aircraft (KV Aviation). The 1994-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Blue Air.
Air Serbia leased an Airbus A319 (1140) aircraft with V2524-A5 engines from Fly Leasing. The 1999-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Volaris.
AirAsia X leased an Airbus A330-200 (0330) aircraft with CF6-80C2B1F engines from ILFC. The 2000-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Batavia Air.
Allegiant Air leased an Airbus A320 (1288) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from Dia Sevilla Leasing (SMBC Aviation Capital). The 2000-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Iberia.
Conviasa wetleased a Boeing 767-300ER (26389) aircraft with CF6-80C2B6F engines from Blue Panorama. The 1992-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Alitalia.
Cubana wetleased an Airbus A340-300 (668) aircraft with CFM56-5C4/P engines from Nuku-Hiva Bail. The 2005-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Tahiti.
Dragonair extended the lease of an Airbus A320 (1720) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from ACAP 2005-3 ABS portfolio (Aviation Capital Group). The 2002-vintage aircraft has been operated by Dragonair since new.
Dragonair extended the lease of an Airbus A321 (0633) aircraft with V2533-A5 engines from ACAP 2003-2 ABS portfolio (Aviation Capital Group). The 1996-vintage aircraft has been operated by Dragonair since 2000.
Iberia transferred an Airbus A320 (2248) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines to Iberia Express. The 2004-vintage aircraft was subleased to Mexicana in 2005 through 2008.
Moskovia Airlines leased a SSJ100-95B (95008, 95021) aircraft with SaM146 engines from Sukhoi Multipurpose Aircompany. The 2010/12-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Aeroflot-Russian Airlines.
QantasLink leased a Boeing 717-200 (55179) with BR715 engines from BCC Equipment Leasing. The 2003-vintage aircraft was previously operated by MexicanaClick.
Safair leased two Boeing 737-400 (24917, 26065) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from ASL Aircraft Investments. The 1991-vintage aircraft were last operated by Nok Air.
Saudia agreed to sublease an Airbus A330-200 (0330) aircraft with CF6-80C2B1F engines from AirAsia X. The 2000-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Batavia Air.
South African Airways transferred a Boeing 737-800 (32631) aircraft with CFM56-7B27 engines to Mango. The 2002-vintage aircraft is on lease from Safair Leasing.
Srijiwaya Air leased a Boeing 737-500 (27534) aircraft with CFM56-3B1 engines from GECAS. The 1995-vintage was previously operated by United Airlines.
Tajik Air leased a Boeing 737-400 (25736) aircraft with CFM56-3B2 engines from ILFC. The 1992-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Aerosvit Airlines.
Travel Service wetleased an Airbus A320 (0466) aircraft with CFM56-5A3 engines from Avion Express. The 1994-vintage aircraft was previously operated by First Nation Airways.
