Iberia extends A319 leases with SMBC Aviation Capital

Operating leasing company SMBC Aviation Capital has extended the leases of a pair of Airbus A319s with Iberia.

The two aircraft are from the lessor’s owned portfolio.

According to Flightglobal’s Ascend Online database, SMBC Aviation Capital has six A319s on lease to the Spanish carrier.

Two 2008-vintage aircraft have leases expiring in February and March, says Ascend. A 2006-built aircraft has a lease until October 2014 while a 2007-vintage aircraft is leased through July 2015.

The remaining two A319s were leased in 2010 for a period of nine years from now affiliate SMFL Aircraft Capital Corporation (SMAC).

Last week SMBC Aviation Capital also delivered a new Boeing 737-800 aircraft on lease to China Eastern Airlines.

Aeroflot Russian Airlines transferred an Airbus A319 (3336) aircraft with CFM56-5B5/3 engines to Aurora. The 2010-vintage aircraft was operated by Aeroflot since new.

Aeroflot Russian Airlines transferred an Airbus A319 (2093) aircraft with CFM56-5B5/P engines to Donovia. The 2003-vintage aircraft was operated by Aeroflot since new.

Aeromar Airlines leased a Bombardier CRJ200ER (7851) aircraft with CF34-3B1 engines from Sumitomo Mitsui Finance & Leasing. The 2003-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Nostrum.

Aeroturbine purchased two Airbus A320 (0932, 0943) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from BOC Aviation. The 1998-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Alsmaria Universal Airlines.

Air Berlin leased an Airbus A320 (2003) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from GECAS. The 2003-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Thomas Cook Airlines.

Air Transat subleased a Boeing 737-800 (29650) aircraft with CFM56-7B24/3 engines from Transavia. The 2006-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Delta Airlines.

Jet2 leased a Boeing 737-800 (30276) aircraft with CFM56-7B27 engines from ACAP 2005-3 ABS portfolio. The 2001-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Europa.

CemAir leased a Bombardier CRJ100ER (7297) aircraft with CF34-3A1 engines from Golden Mile Aircraft Leasing. The 1999-vintage aircraft was last operated by Comair.

Champion Air purchased an Embraer 145LR (145626) aircraft with AE3007-A1 engines from Jet Sales of Stuart. The 2002-vintage aircraft was last operated by Mesa Airlines.

Monarch Airlines leased an Airbus A320 (1605) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from RPK Aviation Capital. The 2001-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Saga Airlines.

Ruili Airlines purchased two Boeing 737-800 (36873, 36874) aircraft with CFM56-7B22/3 engines from Air Berlin. The 2010-vintage aircraft were operated by Air Berlin since new.

SA Airlink leased an Embraer 135 (145356) aircraft with AE3007-A1/3 engines from ECC Leasing. The 2000-vintage aircraft was previously operated by American Eagle.

Sideral Air Cargo leased a Boeing 737-400SF (24808) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Jetran. The 1990-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Royal Air Maroc.

VivaAerobus leased an Airbus A320 (2157) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from SA Victoria (SMBC Aviation Capital). The 2004-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Livingston.

VietJet Air leased an Airbus A320 (2863) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from BH Air. The 2006-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Myanmar International Airways.

Vueling agreed to lease an Airbus A320 (3492) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from CIT Aerospace. The 2008-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Belle Air Europe.

Xunyang Investment purchased and leaseback a Boeing 737-400SF (27102) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from SF Airlines. The 1992-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Japan Transocean.
