Hi Fly Malta leases ex-Virgin A340s
Hi Fly Malta has leased a pair of Airbus A340-600s that were previously operated by Virgin Atlantic Airways.
The subsidiary of Lisbon-based Hi Fly will take delivery of the two aircraft in the second quarter of this year.
One aircraft (MSN 383) was built in 2002 and will be leased from leasing entity Avaio. The second aircraft (416) is to be leased from leasing entity leasing entity Blue Aviation.
Air Madagascar wetleased an Airbus A340-300 (210) aircraft with CFM56-5C4 engines from Air Atlanta Icelandic. The 1998-vintage aircraft was operated by Air France through 2012.
First Air purchased a Boeing 737-400 (27232) aircraft with CFM56-3B2 engines from KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. The 1994-vintage aircraft was operated by KLM since new.
Gading Sari Aviation Services leased a Boeing 737-400SF (28661) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from ACAP 2005-3 ABS portfolio (Aviation Capital Group). The 1997-vintage aircraft was last operated as a passenger aircraft by Garuda Indonesia.
JetGo of Australia leased an Embraer ERJ-135LR (145713) aircraft with AE3007-A1 engines from Republic Airways in a transaction arranged by Skyworld Aviation. The 2003-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Chautauqua Airlines.
LOT Polish Airlines agreed to wetlease an Airbus A330-200 (1008) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from HiFly. The 2009-vintage aircraft is in operations at Livingston.
Little Red wetleased an Airbus A320 (2486) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from Aer Lingus for a period of three years. The 2005-vintage aircraft is being leased from Nomura Babcock & Brown.
Pennant Aviation purchased an Airbus A310-300F (684) aircraft with PW4152-3A engines from HSH Nordbank in a deal arranged by Amentum. The 1993-vintage aircraft was last operated by India's Deccan 360.
Regent Airways agreed to lease a Boeing 737-700 (29360) aircraft with CFM56-7B22 engines from Aircraft 73B-29360 Inc. (ILFC). The 2005-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Eznis Airways.
Royal Brunei leased an Airbus A320 (3071) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from CIT Leasing. The 2007-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Qatar Airways.
Shaheen Air International agreed to lease a Boeing 737-400 (25740) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from ILFC. The 1993-vintage aircraft was previously operated by LOT Polish Airlines.
Skywest Airlines agreed to lease an Airbus A320 (1922) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from BOC Aviation. The 2002-vintage aircraft was previously operated by British Airways.
Sun Country Airlines leased a Boeing 737-700 (33786) aircraft with CFM56-7B22 engines from ILFC. The 2003-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Aeromexico.
Sky Regional Airlines leased an Embraer 175 (17000109) aircraft with CF34-8E5A1 engines from Air Canada. The 2005-vintage aircraft was operated by Air Canada since new.

United purchased a Boeing 757-200 (24861) aircraft with PW2037 engines off lease from Cooperatieve Centrale Raiffeisen-Boerenleenbank. The 1990-vintage aircraft was operated by United since new.
