Aircastle completes 777-300ERs purchase and leasebacks

Aircastle closed a purchase and leaseback transaction with LATAM Airlines Group for eight used Boeing 777-300ERs operated by TAM Linhas Aereas.

The first group of four aircraft (MSNs 38886, 38887, 38888, 38889) were manufactured in 2012. They have an average lease term of 60 months.

The second group of aircraft (MSNs 37664, 37665, 37666, 37667), were manufactured in 2008, are leased back to LATAM with lease terms expiring in 2017 and 2018.

According to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database, TAM Linhas Aereas has two more 777s in its fleet, on lease from BBAM and Avolon Aerospace.

Cimber leased two Bombardier CRJ200LR (7591, 7622) aircraft with CF34-3B1 engines under a lease agreement arranged by Dutch independent asset finance company GA-Finance. The 2001/02-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Air Nostrum.

Europe Airpost agreed to lease two Boeing 737-700 (29080, 29081) aircraft with CFM56-7B engines from Pembroke Group. The 1999-vintage aircraft were previously operated by LAN Columbia.

Flynas wetleased an Airbus A330-200 (1008) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from HiFly. The 2009-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Garuda Indonesia.

Flynas agreed to wetlease two Airbus A330-300 (127) aircraft with PW4168 engines from HiFly. The 1996-vintage aircraft was previously operated by AtlasJet Airlines.

Kahala agreed to purchase a Boeing 737-300 (28200) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from ILFC. The 1997–vintage aircraft was previously operated by Merpati.

Kahala purchased a Boeing 737-400 (24231) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from GECAS. The 1990–vintage aircraft was previously operated by S7 Airlines.

Monarch Airlines leased an Airbus A320 (2142) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from ILFC. The 2003-vintag aircraft was previously operated by Air Malta.

Nouvelair Tunisie leased an Airbus A320 (2158) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from ILFC for a period of seven years. The 2003-vintag aircraft was previously operated by RAK Airways.

Philippine Airlines agreed to purchase an Airbus A340-300 (459) aircraft with CFM56-5C4 engines from Iberia. The 1999-vintage aircraft was operated by Iberia since new.

PIA leased an Airbus A320 (3833) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/3 engines from SMBC Aviation Capital. The 2009-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Arabia Maroc.

Saudia Cargo wetleased a Boeing 747-300SF (24837) aircraft with CF6-50E2 engines from AG Air. The 1990-vintage aircraft was last operated by AirBridge Cargo.

Skywest Airlines purchased two Bombardier CRJ200ER (8007, 8016) aircraft with CF34-3B1 engines from Delta Air Lines. The 2005-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Expressjet Airlines.

Transavia Airlines subleased a Boeing 737-800 (35831) aircraft with CFM56-7B27/3 engines from GOL. The 2010-vintage aircraft was previously subleased to Transavia Airlines.

Turkish Airlines leased two Airbus A321 (2916, 2919) aircraft with V2530-A5 engines from AWAS for a period of six years. The 2006-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Kingfisher Airlines.

Vueling leased an Airbus A320 (3492) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/3 engines from CIT Aerospace. The 2008-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Belle Air Europe.

Vueling leased an Airbus A320 (3907) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/3 engines from ILFC. The 2009-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Belle Air Europe.

Vueling leased an Airbus A320 (4478) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/3 engines from Volito. The 2010-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Corsica.

Yangtze River Express leased a Boeing 737-300Sf (28599) aircraft with CFM56-3c1 engines from Bankcomm Jinyao (Shanghai) Aircraft Leasing Company. The 1999-vintage aircraft was previously operated by West Air as a passenger aircraft.
