Leki Aviation to sell 737 for parts

Leki Aviation confirmed it has acquired a Boeing 737-500 for part out.

The Danish company purchased the 1991-vintage aircraft last week from operating lessor Nordic Aviation Capital.

The aircraft (MSN 25738) is powered by CFM International CFM56-3B1 engines.

Leki says the engines, auxiliary power unit, thrust reversers, avionics, components, flight surfaces can be supplied certified or as removed.

NAC acquired the 737-500 from Jetscape in December 2006. The aircraft was last operated by Rossiya.

Alliance Airlines purchased two Fokker 70 (11565, 11569) aircraft with Tay 620-15 engines from AWAS. The 1996-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Carpatair.

Boliviana de Aviacion wetleased an Airbus A340-300 (133) aircraft with CFM56-5C3/F engines from Hifly. The 1996-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Livingston.

CanJet Airlines wetleased two Boeing 737-800 (35142, 35148) aircraft with CFM56-7B27/3 engines from Jetairfly. MSN 35142 is a 2008-vintage aircraft owned by HSH Global Aircraft Fund 1. MSN 35148 is a 2009-vintage aircraft owned by Macquarie AirFinance.

Dart Group purchased a Boeing 737-300 (28740) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from AFT 1999-1 ABS portfolio (GECAS). The 1998-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Thomson Airways.

Delta Air Lines purchased a Boeing MD-90 (53570) aircraft with V2525-D5 engines from Boeing Capital Corporation. The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Lion Air.

Delta Air Lines purchased a Bombardier CRJ900 (15195) aircraft with CF34-8C5 engines from Pinnacle Airlines. The 2008-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Pinnacle Airlines.

Excellent Air wetleased a Fokker (11320) aircraft with Tay 650-15 engines from Denim Air. The 1991-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Sol de Paraguay.

ExpressJet Airlines leased a Bombardier CRJ900 (15195) aircraft with CF34-8C5 engines from Delta Air Lines. The 2008-vintage aircraft is owned by Pinnacle Airlines.

Frontier Airlines leased an Airbus A319 (1786) aircraft with CFM56-5B6/P engines from CIT Leasing. The 2002-vintage aircraft was previously operated by China Eastern Airlines.

Jet2.com leased a Boeing 737-300 (28740) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Dart Group. The 1998-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Thomson Airways.

Nordwind Airlines agreed to lease an Airbus A320 (2649) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from Aviation Lease and Finance (ALAFCO). The 2006-vintage aircraft is currently operated by Royal Jordanian Airlines.

Nordwind Airlines agreed to lease two Boeing 777-200ER (27606, 32703) aircraft with GE90-90B engines from ILFC. The 1998/2004-vintage aircraft were previously operated by China Southern Airlines.

Oman Air wetleased two Boeing 737-800 (38025, 38027) aircraft with CFM56-7B26E engines from Travel Service Airlines for a period of 18 months. The 2012-vintage aircraft are leased by Travel Service from GECAS.

Universal Asset Management purchased a Boeing 747-400 (26890) airframe from United Airlines for scrap. The 1996-vintage aircraft was operated by United since new.

SAS leased an Airbus A320 (2990) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from GECAS. The 2006-vintage aircraft is currently operated by IndiGo.

Shaheen Air International leased an Airbus A320 (2027) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from ILFC. The 2003-vintage aircraft is currently operated by Spanair.

Tyrolean Airways leased an Airbus A320 (1931) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from GECAS. The 2003-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Berlin.

VivaAerobus leased a Boeing 737-300 (28660) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from ACAP 2005-3 ABS portfolio (Aviation Capital Group). The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously operated by WebJet.

Vx Capital Partners purchased a Boeing 737-500 (25317) aircraft with CFM56-3C1 engines from Royal Air Maroc. The 1991-vintage aircraft was operated by Royal Air Maroc since new.
