TAP Portugal adds A330s from GECAS

TAP Portugal will add two Airbus A330-200 aircraft from GECAS under operating leases in the first half of next year, according to its chief executive Fernando Pinto.

The 2002-vintage aircraft (MSN 477, 486) are equipped with CF6-80E1A3 engines

According to Pinto, the A330s are currently in operation with Brazil’s TAM Linhas Aereas.

Cobham leased a Boeing 717-200 (55193) aircraft with BR715A1-30 engines from Boeing Capital Corp. The 2006-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Mexicana Click.

Elite Airways purchased a Bombardier CRJ200ER (7700) aircraft with CF34-3B1 engines from Bombardier Capital. The 2002-vintage aircraft was operated by Air Nostrum since new.

TAME wetleased an Embraer 190 (19000373) aircraft with CF34-10E5 engines from Denim Air ACMI. The 2010-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Royal Air Maroc.

Transcarga International Airways leased an Airbus A300B4-200F (274) aircraft with CF6-50C2 engines from Southern Aircraft Charters. The 1983-vintage aircraft were last operated by European Air Transport.

Transaero Airlines leased a Boeing 737-800 (28621) aircraft with CFM56-7B26 engines from VEB Leasing. The 2000-vintage aircraft was previously operated by SpiceJet.

VEB Leasing purchased a Boeing 737-800 (28621) aircraft with CFM56-7B26 engines from NBB 28261 in a transaction arranged by BBAM. The 2000-vintage aircraft was previously operated by SpiceJet.
