AWAS purchases 777 from Guggenheim Aviation Partners

Operating lessor AWAS closed the acquisition of a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft from Guggenheim Aviation Partners in late December.

According to Flightglobal’s Ascend Online database, the 2009-vintage aircraft (MSN 37136) is on lease to Korean Air.

Afghan Jet International Airlines purchased two Bombardier CRJ200LR (7431, 7499) aircraft with CF34-3B1 engines from Armavia. The 2001-vintage aircraft were acquired by Armavia in 2011 from Lufthansa.

Aircraft Support Group purchasedan Airbus A320 (067) aircraft with V2500-A1 engines from Global Principal Finance. The 1989-vintage aircraft was previously operated by US Airways.

Air Caucasus wetleased a Boeing MD83 (53122) aircraft with JT8D-219 engines from Swift Aircargo. The 1992-vintage aircraft was last operated by Avianca.

Air Japan agreed to lease a Boeing 767-300ER (30842) aircraft with CF6-80C2B7F engines from GECAS. The 2001-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Florida West International Airways.

Alpha Express Airlines leased an Airbus A320 (0747) aircraft with V2527E-A5 engines from Fly Leasing for a period of two years. The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Wind Rose Aviation.

Arkia Israeli Airlines agreed to lease an Embraer 190 (19000616) aircraft with CF34-10E7 engines from CIT Aerospace. The 2013-vintage aircraft was previously operated by FlyNonstop.

Asian Air purchased a Boeing 767-200ER (23307) aircraft with JT9D-7R4E4 engines from Dynamic Airways. The 1985-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Dynamic Airways.

AtlasJet Airlines agreed to transfer an Airbus A320 (1213) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines to AtlasJet Ukraine. The 2000-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Vladivostok Air.

AviaAM purchased an Airbus A321 (1956) aircraft with V2533-A5 engines from Middle East Airlines. The 2003-vintage aircraft was operated by Middle East Airlines since new.

Cargojet Airways leased a Boeing 757-200 (24566) aircraft with RB211-535E4 engines from AWAS. The 1989-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Icelandair.

EasyJet transferred an Airbus A320 (5138) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/3 engines to EasyJet Switzerland. The 2012-vintage aircraft was operated by EasyJet since new.

Livingston wetleased an Airbus A330-200 (0211) aircraft with CF6-80E1A4 engines from HiFly. The 1998-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Surinam Airlines.

Mega Maldives Airlines subleased a Boeing 737-800 (30295) aircraft with CFM56-7B26 engines from Travel Service Airlines. The 2004-vintage aircraft is owned by Air Lease.

Philippine Airlines subleased an Airbus A330-200 (1097) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines from Air Europa. The 2010-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Garuda Indonesia.

Royal Air Maroc wetleased a Boeing MD83 (49847) aircraft with JT8D-219 engines from Swiftair. The 1989-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Mistral Air.

SriLankan agreed to lease an Airbus A321 (3397) aircraft with V2533-A5 engines from CIT Leasing. The 2008-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Qatar Airways.

Tiger Mandala leased an Airbus A320 (2600) aircraft with V2527-A5 engines from RBS Australia Leasing Pty (SMBC Aviation Capital). The 2005-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Jetstar.

Transaero Airlines agreed to lease a Boeing 767-300ER (30111) aircraft with CF6-80C2B7F engines from GECAS. The 1999-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Aeroflot Russian Airlines.

Vietnam Airlines agreed to lease an Airbus A330-200 (0946) aircraft with PW4168A engines from DAE Capital. The 2008-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Kingfisher Airlines.

Vision Airlines wetleased a Boeing 767-200 (23306) aircraft with JT9D-7R4E4 engines from Dynamic Airways. The 1985-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air India.

VIM Airlines purchased a Boeing 767-300ER (27619) aircraft with PW4060 engines from Aeroturbine. The 1995-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Blue Panorama Airways.

Yamal Airlines leased an Airbus A321 (1956) aircraft with V2533-A5 engines from AviaAM. The 2003-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Middle East Airlines.
