Southwest Airlines buys 737-700s from Apollo

Southwest Airlines has acquired a pair of Boeing 737-700s (30041, 30042) aircraft with CFM56-7B22 engines from SASOF TR-81 (Apollo Aviation Management).

The 2001-vintage aircraft were previously operated by China Southern Airlines.

Apollo also arranged the placement of two additional 737-700s (30166, 30042) aircraft with CFM56-7B22 engines from Citicorp North America. The 2000-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Alaska Airlines.

AeroLap Paraguay Airlines agreed to purchase two Boeing 767-300ER (25444, 25732) aircraft with RB211-524H engines from British Airways. The 1991/92-vintage aircraft were operated by British Airways since new.

AeroUnion leased two Boeing 767-200ERF (23802, 23804) aircraft with CF6-80C2B2 engines from GECAS. The 1987-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Avianca Cargo.

Alliance Airlines purchased a Fokker 70 (11573) aircraft with Tay 620-15 engines from Tyrolean Airways. The 1995-vintage aircraft was operated by Tyrolean Airways since 1997.

AirAsia X agreed to transfer an Airbus A330-300 (741) aircraft with Trent 772B-60 engines to Thai Air Asia X. The 2006-vintage aircraft is on lease from ILFC.

Air Berlin leased an Airbus A320 (1961) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from GECAS. The 2003-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Thomas Cook Airlines.

Air Georgian leased a Bombardier CRJ200 (7096) aircraft with CF34-3A1 engines from Avmax Aircraft Leasing. The 1995-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Jazz.

Air Transat leased a Boeing 737-800 (30696) aircraft with CFM56-7B27 engines from ILFC. The 2006-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air India Express.

AirNorth Australia wetleased a Fokker 70 (11654) aircraft with Tay 620-15 engines from Alliance Airlines. The 1995-vintage aircraft was acquired by Alliance Airlines in 2012.

Brussels Airlines leased an Airbus A319 (2700) aircraft with CFM56-5B5/P engines from GECAS. The 2006-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Bahrain Air.

Flybe wetleased a Fokker 100 (11340) aircraft with Tay 650-15 engines from Carpatair. The 1991-vintage aircraft has been operated by Carpatair since 2005.

GECAS purchased a Boeing 737-800 (37791) aircraft with CFM56-7B24E engines from Air Berlin. The new aircraft is being placed with Transavia France.

Germania leased an Airbus A319 (3533) aircraft with CFM56-5B6/3 engines from HSH Global Aircraft Fund 1. The 2008-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Hamburg Airways.

Hamburg Airways leased an Airbus A320 (0730) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/P engines from GECAS. The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Vladivostok Air.

Jeju Air leased a Boeing 737-800 (30695) aircraft with CFM56-7B24 engines from ILFC. The 2006-vintage aircraft was previously operated by JetKonnect.

Monarch Airlines leased two Airbus A320 (3458, 3522) aircraft with V2533-A5 engines from ILFC. The 2008-vintage aircraft were previously operated by Royal Jordanian Airlines.

Monarch Airlines leased an Airbus A321 (2610) aircraft with V2533-A5 engines from SMBC Aviation Capital. The 2005-vintage aircraft was previously operated by TACA International Airlines.

Qingdao Airlines agreed to lease two Bombardier CRJ700 (10118, 10120) aircraft with CF34-8C1 engines from Shandong Airlines. The 2003-vintage aircraft have been operated by Shandong Airlines since new.

Turkish Airlines leased an Airbus A330-200 (949) aircraft with PW4168A engines from AerCap. The 2008-vintage aircraft was previously operated by TAM Linhas Aereas.

Turkish Airlines leased an Airbus A330-200 (869) aircraft with PW4168A engines from AerCap. The 2007-vintage aircraft was previously operated by TAM Linhas Aereas.

Vueling leased an Airbus A320 (3344) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/3 engines from Standard Chartered Aviation Finance. The 2008-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Air Arabia.
