Darwin Airline leases Saab 2000 from NAC
Switzerland-based regional carrier Darwin Airline has taken a Saab 2000 aircraft under an operating lease contract from Nordic Aviation Capital.
The aircraft (MSN 039) was built in 1996. It was last operated by Skyways under a wet lease contract with Carpatair.
Darwin Airline operates six Saab 2000s according to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database. It also has two Bombardier Q400s on storage.
Air Kasai leased an ATR 72-200 (408) aircraft with PW127 engines from Nordic Aviation Capital. The 1994-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Executive Airlines.
DirektFlyg wetleased a Fokker 50 (20146) aircraft with PW125B engines from Amapola Flyg. The 1989-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Skyways.
FedEx transferred an ATR 42-310F (135) aircraft with PW120 engines to Mountain Air Cargo. The 1989-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Morningstar Air Express.
