Air Berlin acquires Q400 for LGW operation

German operator purchased a Bombardier Q400 (4265) aircraft with PW150A engines from BTV Leasing Schweiz. The 2009-vintage aircraft was previously operated by SkyWork Airlines.

The Q400 aircraft will be leased to subsidiary LGW.

Colombe Airlines wetleased an ATR 72-200 (285) aircraft with PW124B engines from Helitt Líneas Aéreas. The 1992-vintage aircraft was last operated by Darwin Airlines.

Island Air purchased off lease an ATR 72-210 (345, 434) aircraft with PW127 engines from NK Aviation. The 1992/94-vintage aircraft were placed on lease to Island Air in March this year.

Darwin Airlines wetleased an ATR 72-200 (272) aircraft with PW124B engines from Avanti Air. The 1991-vintage aircraft was previously operated by LGW.
