Aelis sells ATR 72 to Phoenix Aircraft Leasing

Singapore-based Phoenix Aircraft Leasing has purchased an ATR 72-200 from Eurolot in a transaction arranged by Aelis Group.

The 1994-vintage aircraft (MSN 402) will be operated by United Airways of Bangladesh.

The transaction marks the second time this year Phoenix Aircraft Leasing acquires an Eurolot aircraft. In March it purchased an ATR 42-500 (MSN 559).

Aelis has also arranged the sale of two 1991-vintage ATR 72-200 (MSNs 246, 272) to Avanti Air this year.

Blue Islands purchased an ATR 42-300 (0173) aircraft with PW120 engines from CM-CIC Bail (Regourd Aviation). The 1990-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Equaflight Service.

CSA Czech Airlines leased an ATR 72-200 (0387) aircraft with PW127 engines from ASL Aviation Group. The 1993-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Aer Arann Regional.

Connect Air purchased a Saab 340B (347) aircraft with CT7-9B engines from Colgan Air. The 1993-vintage aircraft was operated by Colgan Air since new.

Hawaii Island Air purchased an ATR 72-200 (0349) aircraft with PW127 engines from Nordic Aviation Capital off lease. The 1993-vintage aircraft, which was leased to the Hawaiian carrier last September, was previously operated by Executive Airlines.

Republic Airlines leased a Bombardier Q400 (4202) aircraft with PW150A engines from Regional Equipment Trust. The 2008-vintage aircraft was previously operated by Colgan Air.
