Airstream International arranges Dash 8 sales
Airstream International Group has arranged the purchase of two Bombardier Dash 8-100s, in collaboration with a large US-based lessor.
Both aircraft have been placed under an operating lease contract with Airlines of Papua New Guinea, says Airstream.
The first aircraft (MSN 366) was built in 1993. It was previously operated by United Airlines Bangladesh and is undergoing maintenance in Kuala Lumpur.
The second Dash 8-100 (MSN 380) was previously operated by Australia's Skytrans Airlines. The 1994-vintage aircraft is now in active service.
Solenta Aviation acquired an ATR 72-200F aircraft with PW124B engines from SG Finans AS Norge. The aircraft (MSN 227) was previously operated by West Air Luxembourg.
Air Creebec purchased a Bombardier Dash 8-100 (111) aircraft with PW120A engines from North Cariboo Air. The 1988-vintage aircraft was operated by North Cariboo Air since 2005.
Meregrass purchased a Saab 2000 (044) aircraft with AE2100-A engines from Rockton Aviation. The 1997-vintage aircraft was previously operated by OLT Express.
