Veling sells ex-Kingfisher ATR 72
Mauritius-based aircraft leasing company Veling has completed the sale of the first of two ATR 72-500 that was previously operated by India's Kingfisher Airlines.
The 2007-vintage aircraft was sold to Pelita Air Service, a fully owned subsidiary of Indonesia state oil and gas company Pertamina.
The first aircraft (MSN 746) closed last month. The second aircraft, believed to be MSN 743, is expected later this quarter.
Air Urga leased a Saab 340B (360) aircraft with CT7-9B engines from Spitfire Investments in a deal arranged by Skyworld Aviation. The 1994-vintage aircraft was last operated by Aerolineas Mas.
Darwin Airline wetleased an ATR 72-200 (212) aircraft with PW124B engines from Danu Oro Transportas. The 1991-vintage aircraf was previously operated by Aerosvit Airlines.
SAS wetleased an ATR 72-200 (437) aircraft with PW124B engines from West Air Europe. The 1994-vintage aircraft is owned by Willis Lease.
