UTair Finance closes Rb1bn bond buyback

UTair Finance bought back bonds totalling 1 billion rubles ($31 million) that the Russian carrier placed in the domestic bond on the Moscow stock exchange in April 2012.

At the time the bonds yielded 9% for a coupon of 8.71% per annum. The issues mature in April 2015.

The bonds were issued in conjunction with bonds worth 1.5 billion rubles. The face value per bond is 1,000 rubles.

UTair Aviation provided security for the loan. BK Region is among the banks managing the bonds.
