Vietnam Aircraft Leasing (VALC) has closed financing on a new Airbus A321 aircraft with a syndicate of three banks.
The A321 (MSN 5555) is the final unit of an order for 10 A321s - valued at $561 million and under a 12-year export credit agency (ECA) backed loan guaranteed by Germany's Euler Hermes.
Lenders in this facility include Sumitomo Mitsui Banking (SMBC), KfW Ipex-Bank and Landesbank Hessen-Thuringen Girozentrale (Helaba).
The aircraft is leased to Vietnam Airlines.
The aircraft followed another A321 (MSN 5495) which was also financed by the same lenders last month.
