Vector Aerospace Engine Services has signed a five-year service agreement with Gulfstream International Airlines for engine repair and overhaul of the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-67D engines powering the carrier's 23 Beech 1900Ds.

Terms of the five-year agreement include repair, hot section inspections, modifications, overhaul and test support. Vector plans to carry out the repairs for the Continental Connection carrier at its Engine Services Atlantic facility located in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada.

EADS in March of this year unveiled plans to take over Vector via its Eurocopter division for C$13 per share.
