Vietnam Airlines has taken delivery of an Airbus A330-200 from leasing firm Amentum Capital.

HSH Nordbank owns the aircraft, which has the registration MSN1019. It is the first of three A330s that the carrier is taking from Amentum this year, says the leesor. The other two are owned by Global Aircraft Fund I and expected to be delivered later this summer.

"We are extremely pleased to welcome Vietnam Airlines as a customer and to be a part of its efforts to renew its fleet and to develop Vietnam into an aviation hub for South East Asia," says Volker Fabian, managing director of Amentum.
