Vietnam Airlines has grounded two Airbus A320s and the country’s other major carrier, Pacific Airlines, has grounded one A320 because of an airworthiness directive (AD) issued by the manufacturer, which has sent a team to Vietnam to help with landing gear repairs. A source in Pacific Airlines’ operations department in Ho Chi Minh City says its single A320 has been grounded since 1 April and is now at a maintenance hangar in Hanoi.
