Virgin Australia will add more flights from Brisbane to Bundaberg and Moranbah from late February.
The airline will add an extra four weekly services on the Brisbane-Bundaberg route from 23 February, boosting it to 18 times weekly services.
On the Brisbane-Moranbah route, Virgin will add eight more weekly services to take its frequency up to 42 times weekly.
All of the additional services will be operated by 68 seat ATR 72 aircraft flown by its Virgin Australia Regional Airlines unit.
Flightglobal’s FlightMaps Analytics shows that Virgin competes with QantasLink on the two routes.
