Virgin Australia has applied to the International Air Services Commission (IASC) for a renewal of its capacity allocations for five more years.

The carrier is requesting to renew its full capacity allocation on services to the Cook Islands, starting 12 September 2013.

In a separate allocation, the airline wants to continue to fully utilise its capacity on the Fiji route.

Virgin Australia International has also seeked to renew its seat capacity on the Indonesia route from October 2013.

In addition, the Australian carrier wants to continue to operate its full capacity on the Papua New Guinea route, its 540-seat allocation on the Tonga route and its 900-seat allocation on the Vanuatu route.
