Virgin Australia has priced a further $64.6 million enhanced equipment notes offering, following strong demand for an earlier $732.6 million offering.
This brings the total amount of notes to be issued by the carrier to $797.3 million, at an average coupon rate of 5.6%.
The notes are backed by a collateralised pool of 24 Boeing aircraft within Virgin’s existing fleet.
Proceeds from the notes issues will go towards repayment of financing facilities, and for general corporate purposes.
Goldman Sachs was the structuring agent and lead bookrunner on this transaction.
