Virgin Australia has applied to the International Air Services Commission (IASC) for renewal of the determination to allow the carrier to allocate capacity to Pacific Blue.

The capacity allocation to Pacific Blue on services to the Solomon Islands, once renewed, will be valid for five years from 10 December 2012.

The renewal of the Pacific Blue capacity allocation on services to Fiji will be valid for five years from 5 November 2012.

The renewal follows the expiration of the Virgin Australia's determinations in the next 12 months, the airline said.
