Australia's Virgin Blue is to expand its services to Fiji with non-stop flights from Adelaide and Melbourne.

Virgin Blue says in a statement that the new services will be operated from 4 June by its international subsidiary Pacific Blue. Flights will be operated two times per week on each new route.

The carrier already serves Nadi in Fiji from Brisbane and Sydney.
