Mexican low-cost carrier VivaAerobus is set to announce an order for Airbus A320 aircraft on 21 October.
The all-Boeing 737 operator could order 40 A320neos and 12 current generation A320s, say reports citing anonymous sources.

An Airbus spokesperson declines to comment on the potential order.
VivaAerobus operates an in-service fleet of 19 737-300s, Flightglobal's Ascend Online database shows. The aircraft have in-service dates ranging from 1985 to 1998.
