Mexican low-cost carrier Volaris will launch service on several new domestic routes in December.
The airline will begin flights between Tijuana and Tuxtla Gutierrez, as well as four new routes from Cancun to Hermosillo, Veracruz, Mexicali and San Luis Potosi. It will launch service on the Veracruz route on 5 December and on the Mexicali route on 12 December. The remaining three routes begin service on 4 December.
Volaris will operate twice weekly on all five routes.
It has no competition on all of the routes except Cancun-Veracruz, which low-cost carrier VivaAerobus already serves, schedules in Innovata show.
