Volito Aviation Services is in the market for the lease of a total of eight Airbus A320 family aircraft from its portfolio.
The lessor has two ex-Meridiana Fly A319s available immediately, according to Volito. Both CFM International CFM56-5B6/2P powered aircraft were built in 2000.
Another A319, built in 2001 and on lease to TAM Linhas Aereas, has a lease expiry in March 2014.
Volito also has five A320 models available. Two aircraft, built in 2010, are on lease to Air Corsica until April 2014. Another three aircraft are leased to TAM Linhas Aereas with lease expiries between October 2013 and April 2014.
The lessor manages and owns a total of 35 aircraft of which 16 aircraft are with European customers. Its European exposure includes three Boeing 737-400s, two 737-800s, seven A320s, three A319s and one A321 aircraft.
Its South America presence totals seven aircraft with TAM Linhas Aereas. Another three aircraft are under operating leases in North and Central Americas.
Its exposure to Asia-Pacific includes two A319/A320s with Zest Airways, two A320s with Thailand's U Airlines and another A320 with Bangkok Airways.
In Africa two Boeing 737-800s are leased to Comair while two A319s are with FastJet.
In 2012, Volito closed a total of 26 aircraft transactions. It placed eight aircraft under operating leases and signed extensions on another six units. The lessor also sold 12 aircraft and engines during the year.
