Vueling has made two senior management appointments, naming Fernando Val as chief operating officer and Julio Rodriguez as director of network planning, revenue management & distribution.
Val, who previously served as director of quality and safety in-flight, will now oversee 1,600 employees comprising flight operations, maintenance, airports, ground staff, pilots and cabin crew.
Rodríguez, formerly director of revenue, will now manage a team of 40 people and will be responsible for route network development and price and distribution policy.
