Vueling passenger traffic up 24.6% in October

Spanish low-cost carrier Vueling saw a 24.6% year-on-year increase in passenger traffic in October, against a capacity increase of 23.2%.

Load factor rose 0.9 percentage points to reach 77.7%.

Passenger numbers for the month increased 14.6% to 1.24 million, while the number of flights increased 12.5%.

The airline says it will launch new routes to London Gatwick, Frankfurt and Dusseldorf from Barcelona El Prat airport, starting March 2013.
