Spanish budget carrier Vueling is to re-introduce services between Barcelona and the Scottish capital Edinburgh.

Vueling is also putting a German service in place with a link between Valencia and Munich.

Barcelona-Edinburgh had previously been operated by Clickair before the merger of the two airlines last year. Vueling will start its thrice-weekly service on 24 June, running until 12 September.

The airline already operates to the UK with services linking London Heathrow with Bilbao, La Coruna and Seville.

Valencia-Munich will be operated for the summer, thrice-weekly from 24 June. The carrier says it is also adding an Ibiza-Amsterdam route, four times per week, from the same date.
