SkyTeam partner Air France is looking at Beijing, Mexico City and Washington DC as possible Airbus A380 destinations for 2011.
Speaking last week at Aviation Week's MRO Europe show in London, Air France Industries vice-president for line maintenance and airframe engineering, Herve Page, said the carrier was considering the three cities for A380 service next year.
Air France has four A380s, which it deploys to Johannesburg, New York JFK and Tokyo Narita.
A spokesman for Air France insists that no decision has been reached on deployment of the type next year. Air France will receive its fifth A380 around April 2011.
It is, however, to operate the type to Montreal on a special flight marking 60 years of service to the Canadian city.
