Kuwaiti carrier Wataniya Airways' parent company, Kuwait National Airways, has listed on the emirate's stock exchange today.
The company is 30%-owned by strategic investors with the remainder held by smaller investors. KIPCO Asset Management Company (KAMCO) is acting as listing adviser.
Wataniya Airways is to begin operating services early next year with Airbus A320 aircraft.
Kuwait National Airways also has interests in real estate and aviation support firm United Projects Company for Aviation Services (UPAC) and Kuwait International Airport's private terminal operator Royal Aviation.
