WestJet Encore will begin service between Brandon, Manitoba, and Calgary from 3 September.

"Brandon has been an enthusiastic advocate of air service from the moment WestJet Encore was announced. Now residents of southwestern Manitoba will be able to leverage our network of 85 destinations in 18 countries for both leisure and business."
The new regional carrier will fly one round trip between the cities per day with its 78-seat Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 NextGen aircraft.
No other carriers offer service between the two cities, schedules in Innovata show.
WestJet Encore will begin service on 24 June. It will initially fly from Calgary to Fort St. John, British Columbia, and offer a subsequent flight from Fort. St. John to Vancouver. It will also begin service to Nanaimo, British Columbia to Calgary on the same day. It will also start flying between Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia, from 25 June.
WestJet will receive seven Q400s in 2013, with the first scheduled to arrive on 7 June. It has 20 firm commitments for the aircraft and up to 25 options between 2014 and 2018.
