WestJet passenger traffic up 8.2% in March

Canadian low-cost carrier WestJet has posted 8.2% year-on-year increase in passenger traffic in March compared to the same month in 2012.

The carrier's capacity for the month grew 8.4% and the load factor decreased by 0.1 percentage points to 86.1%.

The airline flew 1.6 million passengers in March, a year-on-year rise of 6.7% or approximately 101,000 additional guests.
