Raytheon Aircraft has certificated the winglet-equipped Hawker 850XP business jet. The outward-canted composite winglets extend range by 185km (100nm), improve time-to-climb by 8% and increase airspeed. The 850XP replaces the 800XPi in production. The Raytheon-developed winglets will become available for retrofit next year.
